This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with elevategolf.com and the Elevate Golf app. It is provided by Elevate Golf International Limited, company number 15579950. Our Privacy Policy explains the associated personal information, recipients and rights.

1. What these technologies do

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage can retain information until it is removed; session storage normally lasts for the browser tab’s session. Apps can also use device storage and identifiers. The purpose and information involved determine the relevant privacy rules, regardless of the technology’s name.

2. The public website

The public website serves its pages, fonts, images and demonstration videos from its own website assets. Viewing these materials does not require an embedded YouTube player or Google Fonts connection. We do not use website advertising pixels or cookies for targeted advertising, and do not use Google Analytics on these public pages.

Normal page requests provide the hosting service with connection information, such as an IP address and browser details, needed to deliver and protect the website. This is explained in the Privacy Policy. Browser caching of downloaded files is distinct from an advertising identifier.

Technical website software can read the browser’s local debugging preferences named “debug” and “DEBUG”. These are local diagnostic settings, not marketing profiles. A persistent value remains until removed through browser site-data controls or the relevant debugging software. Normal browsing does not require you to create a debugging preference.

3. Necessary service functions

When you use an account or app function, device storage can support authentication, security, your requested function and the recording of a privacy choice. Information used for these purposes must be limited to that purpose. A necessary service function is not permission for unrelated tracking.

Session information lasts for the relevant session. Persistent account or preference information remains until its purpose ends, you change or remove it, or the relevant account information is deleted under the Privacy Policy. Logging out, clearing site or app data, or withdrawing a permission can affect the relevant function. Uninstalling the app does not itself delete your Elevate account or server-held information.

4. Optional technologies and consent

Where an optional technology requires consent, we explain its purpose, provider and duration before it is used and give a separate choice. It does not operate merely because you browse the website, accept the Terms or buy a Tip. Refusal does not prevent necessary service functions, and withdrawing consent must be as straightforward as giving it.

Optional analytics, personalisation or advertising must not be treated as necessary simply because they are useful to us. Any applicable exemption is limited to its lawful purpose and safeguards. We do not use children’s or health information for advertising. Applicable recognised opt-out signals and local rights are respected.

5. Managing your choices

Use a service’s privacy-choice control where one is presented. You can also view, block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings, and manage app permissions and storage through device settings. Clearing site data may remove saved preferences; blocking storage may prevent a requested function from working. Browser controls do not replace a consent or withdrawal control we are legally required to provide.

Links to app stores, payment services, social networks or other external destinations take you to services with their own notices and settings. Those services do not obtain permission for optional tracking merely because you accepted Elevate’s Terms.

6. Changes and contact

We explain material changes to purposes and obtain fresh consent before new consent-dependent uses begin. A policy update alone does not create consent.
